Kerry is a lyric soprano who has performed a large range of opera and concert repertoire. She has been involved with The Opera and Song Collective (TOSC) since 2024, performing the title role of Rusalka and has especially enjoyed the concerts involving Russian and Verdi repertoire.
Other soloist engagements have included Villians and Valkyries with Willoughby Symphony and NSW Wagner Society, River City Voices Slam Messiah, Guest soloist with the Cudgegong Choir in Mudgee. Along with husband Brendan, Kerry has curated various church music concerts at St Patricks in Sutherland. She will perform as soloist in Schubert Mass in g and Vivaldi Gloria with the Illawarra Choral Society in May 2026.
Earlier in her career Kerry was a winner of the Australian National Operatic Aria, finalist for the Opera Foundation Australia Awards and Young Artist with Pacific Opera. She performed many coloratura roles including Lucia di Lammermoor, Konstanza, Pamina, Königin der Nacht, Donna Anna and Rosalinda. She performed in summer festivals in Italy and Austria.
Kerry has performed with Opera Australia Chorus, Rockdale Opera and has been soprano soloist with the Strathfield, Willoughby, Manly-Warringah and the Sydney Conservatorium Orchestras. Repertoire includes Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mass in C, Bach’s Magnificat, St John Passion, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart Requiem, Schubert’s Mass in G, Saint-Saën’s Christmas Oratorio.
Kerry teaches at Menai High School and has taught voice at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and in her private studio. She holds a Masters of Opera Studies and Bachelor of Music Performance in Voice from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Bachelor of Science (Geosciences) and Master of Teaching from the University of Wollongong.
